At Penn Medicine, we provide COVID-19 testing to patients who are experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms, have been exposed to COVID-19 but are asymptomatic, or have an upcoming procedure or surgery. If you are a member of our Penn Medicine staff, please visit our staff-specific page here.

Most of our sites provide testing only to patients who are experiencing symptoms.

Currently, we provide testing for patients without COVID-19 symptoms only at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. If you aren't experiencing symptoms but are looking to be tested, you may visit that site or the Sayre Health Center testing site in West Philadelphia. Your local health department website, such as the City of Philadelphia's COVID-19 testing website, may provide other options for testing locations near you and more information, and tests are available at pharmacies.
