Penn Medicine OnDemand provides urgent primary care services via telemedicine and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

To participate in a Penn Medicine OnDemand visit, you must:

• Be physically present in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware or Maryland at the time of your virtual visit.
• Be 14 or older.
• Have a video and audio-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet or computer with a front-facing camera and updated operating system. Smartphones and tablets are strongly recommended for Penn Medicine OnDemand visits.

Our providers can address the immediate care needs of patients 14 and older during a video visit for select conditions including:

• Allergies
• Back pain
• Bug bites and stings
• Coughs, colds and flu
• Earaches
• Gout
• Headaches
• Joint pain
• Indigestion and heartburn
• New skin conditions
• Pink eye and stye
• Sinus infections
• Sore throat
• STD concerns
• Urinary tract infections
• Vomiting, diarrhea and constipation

When you participate in an OnDemand visit, you do so via video visit and do not visit a physical practice location. During an OnDemand visit, your provider may recommend a follow-up, in-person, office-based appointment with another Penn Medicine provider. The Penn Medicine OnDemand team will help you schedule that in-person visit at a time and location that is convenient for you.
